Friday, November 18th, I won the $25K Fri NBA Pick N Roll on Fanduel. I’ve had some good lineups this year, but getting first in a contest of 13k entries is an excellent time to blog about my thoughts about playing Fanduel this season.
Winning in NBA Daily Fantasy Sports is more challenging to win. The average player has gotten more intelligent, the information is easier to find, and there is technology that can create positive EV (Expected Value) lineups.
Besides investing in a projection system, I use Stokastic. I’ve been using them for a long time and have a serious edge over the competition. I am adding a link here.

The most significant edge in DFS is late swapping. if you’re playing on one of these sites, you must be tuned in for news up until the last game tips, or else you will have a hard time winning money in the long run. Late Swap allows you to edit your players until their games start, so you don’t have to worry about late news affecting your lineup. Players that become good plays after lock tend to be under-owned. Most people don’t do this because it can be time-consuming, and when I don’t have access to my computer, I usually don’t play tournaments that day because Late Swap is so important.
